A group of shareholders has acquired AGA Financial Group from La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services for an undisclosed amount.
The group is made up of insurance and financial services industry veterans Martin Papillon, Chantal Dufresne and Gabriel Gagnon.
“We were looking for a good business opportunity, and that is what we have found in AGA Financial Group,” says Papillon, AGA’s new president and CEO.
“We concluded that in the group insurance market, we want to remain active as an insurer and not as a distributor,” says Steven Ross, president and COO of the life and health insurance and financial services division with La Capitale Financial Group.
AGA helps clients develop and administer tailor-made group insurance plans.
